11/8/2023 0 Comments Point cloud paraview vtkIf I then visualize just those points (and make the points very large), we can clearly see that we don't have a Poiseuille profile headed in the positive X direction. csv file was imported into Paraview and I used the TableToPoints filter to create spatial points from the csv file by assigning the X column to the X location in space, the Y column to the Y location in space, and the Z column to the Z location in space. The ux values at each spatial location is simply read from the csv file. csv file, but that internal ID has nothing to do with the ux values at each spatial location. It will assign it's own internal ID to each of the points in the. Paraview doesn't re-order the information you send it. csv file don't correspond with x and y values that will result in a Poiseuille velocity profile.
